The words
that stay.

Writing about the people we miss, the memories we keep, and the love that stays with us.

Dorothy

A tribute to Dorothy, Ken’s late life partner.

BY KEN KRIZAN

when in love with someone
it does not fly away
they become an essential part of you
in what you do and say

do not think of her as gone
now for ever in my thought
remember the happy moments
her unique knowledge she brought

life has a choice to search
for your souls counterpoint
when and if found
it is an occasion to anoint

ruing the past must be cast out
tis a form of negative energy
stay in the present to live the legacy
at times it is hopeless to forget
be inspired for other things
that have not happened yet
